Plankton, plants, insects, fish, birds, beasts — and humans. You can’t choose which of 37 lives you are born into. You live the life you are given to its end, and the karma you build carries you to your next life. There are eight endings. Lifespans and survival rates are based on the real biology of each creature.
Lifespans, egg counts and survival rates are estimates based on values known from field guides and research. Population estimates are order-of-magnitude guides. Human life expectancy and child mortality are estimates from public UN and World Bank statistics.
A die decides the weather of the year you are born. +1 if you built 5 or more karma in your past life.

TO YOU, WHO SAW ALL EIGHT ENDINGS
Thank you for following all eight endings to the very last.
Rinne-roku grew out of one question: is a short life a poor life? A diatom eaten within three days still makes the ocean’s oxygen and sustains the lives of fish. Living long is not the only kind of richness. I made this hoping you would feel that — not by being told, but by living it.
Whether you left the cycle, chose to stay, or kept circling — every ending was its own way of being fulfilled.
And when you close this screen, please take good care of your own life, too.
